Oasis of Grace Ministries in Zimbabwe feeds approximately 400 children per day at six feeding centres. They needs funds to purchase food, as well as for medical care, school supplies & clothing for the children. You have the option to donate to the general orphan fund or sponsor a child for $32 (Canadian) per month. Donations and sponsorship dollars currently take care of about 250 children per day. It is our goal to reach 400 by August 2009. Every sponsorship counts.

This project is to construct a feeding centre in Musana. This centre will help to feed and educate orphaned children in the village. Without our help these children will go hungry. This project's estimated cost is $12,000.

The toilets building has separate facilities for men and women. Each side is set up to have 3 sinks, 2 toilets and a shower. The reason the building is not functioning is the inadequate water supply from the first well. Water supply to the building has not been connected. The building cost approximately $18,000 to build. The pastors house has 1 bathroom, a kitchen/dining area, living room and 5 bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms will be used by the pastor and family and the other 2 will be used to house some of the younger orphans. When I left the interior plastering was 90% complete and all of the window frames were in. This building should be completed and occupied before we return in August. The project is to construct a dormitory building in Musana Zimbabwe located approximately 45 minutes from Harare (capital of Zimbabwe). This is a village where there is extreme poverty. The Dormitory will house 32 children that have been orphaned due to AIDS. We will be working with the locals and helping to support their community by purchasing materials and utilizing their skills in the construction of the project. Textbooks for the students of the Chikumbu Primary and Seconday Schools. The few books that are available to these students are severely damaged and onaverage one book is shared among ten students. An initiative sponsored by the Zimbabwe Porject that provides Rural communities with pigs and educates the villagers on how to care for the animals and how they can improve their livelihood.$250 will pay for 2 pigs the pen and 6 months of food.
